Last week my mom went home. Now that I’ve had a little time to recover from her visit, I’m looking back and realized I didn’t take many pictures. Hardly any. We didn’t do all that much really. We took a day trip to Viña del Mar for a relative’s birthday, and just enjoyed our time together. We took walks and went out to the grocery store.
My mom LOVES going to the grocery store. Looking at all the different spices and packaging. Seeing what products are the same. It’s fun to see her all excited about things. She was here for almost 3 weeks. It was really nice to just have her here. Sometimes it doesn’t matter how old you are, you still need your mom.

So glad you could get that time together. It’s so important. I just had a similar, low-key visit with my mom here. It was so lovely to just be with her. I realized how much I really miss having her around, day to day. ❤

Hi Jenn! I know. I lived a few hours away from my parents when I was in the states. But I do miss the day to day stuff. Tomorrow is the one year anniversary of my move and I can’t believe how time flys!
