Maya Socks

Maya Socks-11

Maya, the Mapuche word meaning river, fits these socks perfectly. Stitches flow twisting and turning like a river’s current. The stitch pattern is created by a series of paired increases and decreases. Directions are both written and charted. The pattern is written for toe-up socks, but you can easily adapt it to knit them cuff-down. These socks feature a more rounded toe box, afterthought heel, and a patterned cuff.

Knit it!

I can’t wait to see all your gorgeous socks!

Happy knitting!
